About SUV Challenge
The SUV Challenge is a four-day community outreach programme through the rural districts of the Eastern Cape. Organisations, stakeholders, donors, ambassadors, media representatives and influencers travel together in convoy to rural and township communities and schools. More than a hundred people arrive at once, and the whole ward turns out for the day.
The vehicle is what allows the programme to reach communities that other programmes do not service. Many of the schools and villages on the route sit at the end of gravel district roads, hours from the nearest town offering the services the convoy brings with it.
Community
